Jim and Chad with Remax were great to work with.
Jim and Chad with Remax were great to work with. We came to the area not knowing anyone and were lucky enough to find them to help us find a house. They provided us with home listings that fit our specific criteria so we could prequalify the homes we wanted to see, which was a huge help with a long distance move. They were able to book about 25 showings over one long weekend and we found a house that fit everything we were looking for. Acting as our buying agent, they were able to provide great advice and insight during the offer and negotiation stage so we could get the house we wanted at a fair price. From start to finish, they were helpful, prompt, attentive, and most of all, honest and trustworthy. Finding an agent you can trust is not always the easiest thing in the world. You will not have to worry about that with Jim and Chad. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell property.

Investment Real Estate >Renting Your Home
Homeowners who don't need the equity from their home to purchase a new home may consider renting it instead of selling. Rental property is almost always a good investment, but you should understand the consequences of becoming a landlord.
Tenants may not share your pride of ownership and, therefore, may not maintain the property like you would. If you plan to rent your property, acquaint yourself with state or local landlord/tenant laws, including those dealing with rent control and eviction procedures. If the home you rent has been your primary residence, you could lose the benefits of a capital gains deferral when you sell it later. Get professional advice from a tax expert and a professional real estate agent before you decide to turn your home into rental property.
